- Test fees for licenses or certificates required to obtain, maintain, or progress in a career.
Until the VA decides that a spouse is qualified for VA Dependent Benefits, the spouse has ten years. Between the ages of 18 and 26, children are eligible to access the benefit.
Medical Care (CHAMPVA)
For the spouse and dependent children of most of 100% service-connected disabled veterans, CHAMPVA offers medical treatment. Generally speaking, the CHAMPVA program covers most of medically and psychologically required services and materials. A child’s eligibility expires at age 18, unless they are still enrolled in an approved school, in which case their eligibility expires at age 23.
